In the peaceful dining room, impeccably dressed tables with crisp white linens create an atmosphere of understated refinement. Soft carpeting enhances the sense of tranquillity, while large windows flood the space with natural light and frame serene views of the surrounding grounds.

The decor is elegant, minimalist and timeless—creating the perfect backdrop for a generous, surprising and memorable culinary experience.

Our fine dining restaurant, Le 1201, will be closed from July 1st to August 31st.

We look forward to welcoming you back from September 1st to (re)discover exceptional cuisine.

A Gastronomic Experience: Generosity, Local Heritage & Creativity

At the helm of Le 1201's kitchen, Executive Chef David Ferré, a proud local with a lifelong passion for cooking, shares with his team the pleasure of showcasing generous, authentic cuisine with a bold creative spirit.

Like the abbey itself, which has stood the test of time, each menu harmoniously blends classical foundations with contemporary reinterpretations, balancing tradition and innovation to create a truly genuine dining experience.

Celebrating Local Produce

At Le 1201, we proudly showcase seasonal ingredients sourced from carefully selected regional producers. Guérande sea salt, vegetables from neighbouring market gardeners, Beillevaire cheeses and dairy products, fish from Vannes and Lorient, oysters from Oléron, Atlantic seafood, and locally raised meats and poultry all inspire our cuisine.

Every ingredient is treated with the utmost care, allowing the richness of our region to shine through in beautifully crafted dishes.
